I am 22 years old now. I started my Advanced Level studies in 2020, and looking back, I feel as though I have wasted many years of my life, my parents’ money, and even my own health. My parents are not educated, but they made enormous sacrifices for me and trusted me completely. They believed I was working towards a bright future, but instead I became distracted, made poor choices, and lost valuable years. One of the biggest mistakes I made was becoming attached to a man whom I deeply loved. I was struggling with insecurities, childhood trauma, and a lack of guidance, and I trusted someone who turned out to be toxic and far from practising Islam. He pressured me emotionally and physically, repeatedly promising marriage until I eventually gave in and committed zina with him, believing he would become my husband. After years of promises, he suddenly left me. Since then, I have been heartbroken, ashamed, depressed, and afraid for my future. I have sincerely repented to Allah, but I still feel overwhelmed by regret, guilt, and fear. I do not know how to move forward with my life. 💔 #Anonymous

I often feel unwell, but despite consulting several doctors and undergoing numerous medical tests, no specific illness has been diagnosed. Additionally, I sometimes notice a shadow in my house, as if someone is quickly running past me. This has left me confused and concerned. Could these experiences be related to something spiritual, such as jinn or the evil eye? What should I do about them according to Islam? I would be grateful for your guidance. (Q&A)

I have two wives, and I deeply love my second wife. Unfortunately, I lost my job and have been struggling to find another one. My financial situation has become very difficult, and I can no longer afford to provide her with the basic necessities as I used to. My second wife has asked me to divorce her so that she can marry someone else, but I find this extremely painful because I love her and cannot imagine letting her go. I often think about her, and she even appears in my dreams. Our intimacy has also become difficult; she is willing when she wants it, but sometimes refuses when I ask. My first wife keeps reminding me that these are tests from Allah and that He will eventually open doors for us. I do not want to divorce my second wife, but I am struggling financially and emotionally. What does Islam say about my situation? Please guide me according to Shariah.

You are carrying a tremendous amount of heartache right now. Struggling to provide after losing your job is already deeply stressful, but having the woman you love so dearly ask for a divorce makes the pain feel almost unbearable. It sounds completely exhausting to navigate this heavy financial burden while wrestling with a broken heart, deeply attached to her, and feeling torn between the hope your first wife offers and the grief of slipping away from your second.

Walaikum assalam. It sounds intensely frustrating and exhausting to feel that burning urgency to build your dream life right now, while watching others seemingly have it all so early. Feeling like time is slipping away and that reaching your goals might take longer than you want is bringing up so much raw anger and impatience. Your fierce drive to achieve everything on your own terms is clear, along with the heavy pressure weighing on you right now.

It sounds deeply isolating and heavy to carry this worry all on your own, especially when you feel ready to take this step in life. Watching your siblings move forward while your parents seem passive must feel so frustrating and disheartening. Pouring your heart out in prayer and feeling the ticking of the clock takes a real toll on your spirit. Your feelings of anxiety, sadness, and urgency are completely understandable in such an uncertain situation.

So ladies and gentlemen! My situation is such that I am 18 years old, studying, and also working. 😎 The problem is that I like a couple of girls, but after some time, they stop liking me. I don't know why! 😂 And this is not the only case, as I have had similar experiences with other girls and their cousins. Now I don't have a formal plan, but one idea came to mind that if for some reason the engagement of these two ends, maybe I could get a chance. I don't have a formal plan right now, but one idea came to mind that if I get a girl engaged, I could arrange a meeting with her cousin, so that problems arise between them and the engagement ends. 😈 Some people will say this is wrong, but my answer is: "Everything is permissible in love and war!" 🔥❤️ Yes, if she had already married, I wouldn't even think of doing such a thing. Anyway, I don't consider myself such a bad person, it's just a matter of the heart, and the heart is also on a strange stubbornness. 😂 Now let's move on to the real question! 👇 In today's era, anyone can be fooled with the help of AI, so I thought I could do this myself. But having a girl for this task seems more important. And if anyone has a better idea than my plan, they can also share it. So, sir, now it's your turn! 😁🔥 Please share your opinion, but it should be weighty! 👀❤️

I’m M, 27, 6’1”, married to an FM, 30 a little shortie. 😂❤️ Here’s the story: my wife is completely different from the women you see these days. She has given my parents the same status as her own. The respect she gives them, the way she takes care of them, and how she makes sure everything is done on time it’s something you rarely find. A woman like her is so rare that even if you searched for her in your dreams, you might not find one. And a salute to the queen who raised her. Raised by a queen, being a queen. 👑 No foul language. No negativity. A woman who prays five times a day and has everything in her life so well organized. Honestly, the more I praise her, the less it feels like enough. She loves me to the core, and I love her more than anything in this world. Respect goes both ways, and because we respect her, my parents have embraced her as their own daughter. We are one happy family, and Alhamdulillah, I couldn’t be more grateful for that. BUT… When it comes to IN****CY, things are different. It’s been five years since we got married, but in all these five years, I’ve never reached that point where I could say, “This is exactly how I always imagined it would be.” That level of connection, that feeling of satisfaction, that sukoon whatever you want to call it is missing, and it’s starting to tr++ger something inside me. I go to the gym, I’ve never sm==ed, I have no bad habits. My routine is simple: gym, work, home, and prayers. You can imagine the kind of shape I try to maintain and how high my testosterone and s** drive might be. But when it comes to IN****CY, it’s always the same typical get on, get off routine. There’s no deeper connection, no fulfillment of the kind I’ve been longing for. I’ve tried talking about it many times, but somehow, we never seem to reach that level. For five years, I’ve been suppre+sing these desires and bu+ying these expectations deep inside me. I keep telling myself to be patient, and all I can do is pray that Allah helps me continue to control these feelings. But the truth is, I’m no longer feeling phy++++lly attracted to my wife the way I used to, and that scares me. I’m afraid I’m slowly losing interest, and I don’t want that to happen. Because outside the bedroom, she is everything a man could ask for in a wife. She is loving, respectful, caring, religious, and an incredible daughter to my parents. I love her more than anything. I appreciate everything she does for me and my family. But how do you deal with the fact that one of the most important aspects of your marriage still feels unfulfilled after five years? I don’t want to lose the woman I love. I just want us to reach a level of int++++cy where both of us feel truly connected, desired, and fulfilled. May Allah guide us, help us understand each other, and put barakah in our marriage. Ameen. 🤲🏻

It sounds like you carry an immense amount of genuine love, gratitude, and reverence for your wife and the life you share. Holding that profound respect alongside the deep, silent ache of unmet physical and emotional intimacy must feel incredibly heavy and confusing. It is completely natural to feel scared when the connection you long for feels out of reach, especially when you cherish every other part of who she is so deeply. Whisprin hears your heart.

During an extremely intense argument, my husband was crying and very angry. He was breaking things, appeared as though he might hit me, and has serious anger issues. At times, he drives dangerously fast when angry, and his behaviour can become frightening. During this argument, he said the words “talaq deta ho.” I personally heard him say these words twice, but he now says he cannot remember whether he said them two or three times. He is deeply ashamed and says he did not intend to end our marriage. I need to understand whether his state of extreme anger affects the ruling and how the number of pronouncements should be determined. He said, “Main tumhe talaq de doon?” and then said, “Talaq deta ho, talaq deta ho,” before leaving the room. We genuinely have no other issues between us, and he is currently traumatised because he is suffering from chickenpox. We want to resolve this according to Shariah and do not want to assume an answer without proper guidance. What details would you need from both of us to establish the correct ruling?

I have been married for 10 years, and I am now 26 years old with two children—a 6-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Over the years, I have tried my best to give everything to this marriage, but I feel completely broken now. There is no physical intimacy; months go by without it, and when I try to express my needs, I am humiliated, pushed away, and told I am not worthy. I feel ashamed even speaking about this. My husband controls all the finances. Although he earns well and pays the bills, I am not allowed to spend money according to my own needs or choices. I receive only a small amount occasionally, and even that comes with humiliation. Alongside this, there is constant criticism, verbal abuse, and physical violence. Even small things lead to anger, insults, and sometimes beating. There is no healthy communication; whenever I try to talk, I am silenced with harsh words. In front of others, he maintains a good image, but inside our home, he humiliates me in front of his family, calling me ugly, useless, and dirty. Because of this, his family also disrespects me. My children are deeply affected and live in fear. My daughter sometimes stays with my parents, and he provides very little for her. My health is declining; I suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, and disturbing thoughts. I feel isolated, unsupported, and exhausted. I want to seek a divorce. What does Islam say about my situation? #Anonymous

I am married, but I live abroad. After our marriage, an unknown person contacted me and told me that my wife had been involved with him. When I confronted her, she told me that she had blocked him. She started crying and apologized, saying that she had repented (made tauba) and would never do anything like this again. The thing that hurts me the most is that she had asked for a divorce from me while she was talking to him. However, she later realized her mistake and blocked him. Now, I am confused about whether I should continue this marriage. If I stay with her, how can I trust her again? How can I be sure that she will not repeat the same mistake in the future? Divorce seems like the last option, but I am unsure about the consequences and what the right decision would be. I feel personally broken, hurt, and lost. I never imagined that I would find myself in this situation, and I honestly do not know what to do. What is the Islamic direction and guidance in this situation?

My name is Axxd, and I’m from Hyderabad, currently living in the UAE. Alhamdulillah, I’m well settled here and working with a good company. Life is going well, but sometimes, even when everything seems fine, you still feel lonely. Living away from home, I sometimes feel like I need someone to talk to, someone who listens and understands. I’m looking to make some genuine friends from Hyderabad. Someone I can talk to, share my thoughts with, discuss random things, and have good conversations with. Sometimes, you don’t need advice or solutions; you just need someone who listens. And please, guys, don’t start commenting, “Shaadi karlo, sab theek ho jayega.” 😂 InshaAllah, shaadi bhi apne time par ho jayegi. For now, I’m just looking for a good friend and someone I can talk to openly. If anyone feels the same or is interested in a genuine friendship, feel free to message me. ❤️

25f a dentist took divorce start of this year. It was only nikkah and was conned by the guys family into believing hes well settled abroad meanwhile he had just begun his degree and was severely cont+olling. I was stupid and got phy+++al 2 3 times during the week after nikkah he was in Pakistan. I h+te myself for it feel like have betrayed my family. Family is very supportive and helped me stand up for myself after noticing his to+ic patterns like video calls for extended periods like 7 8 hours each day, an+er iss+es etc, one time he fo+ght with me so much i literally had a p+nic at++ck in front of them. Then they were pushing rukhsati even when there was no chance of me getting to live with him so he demanded my father send me out on study visa which he cant i have other siblings too and he has already contributed alot throughout my degree. He was a major mommy boy minute to minute things i tell about my family or myself he'd go tell his mom, he even told very personal stuff abt my moms he+lth condition to his family and my extended family i dont know why Khair realizing all these patterns i went for khulla. Ive been trying to stand back up for almost over an year now. 2 months into the nikkah i realised his to+ic and manipulative methods and have not been same since. Before that i was a fairly confident girl and took this decision myself of marriage despite my father reservations.Since that i lost something in me. I dont have any ambition in life. Everything i do is half hearted, career wise ive fallen extremely behind i wanted to appear in css since as long as i can remeber and ive started preparations as well but i cant see it leading anywhere. I just want this to get over lifes gotten so monotonus. I need that drive and spark back in me.

You went through an intense ordeal of deception, intense control, and emotional exhaustion, all while trying to protect your family and your future. Carrying the weight of self-blame after being manipulated is deeply draining. It makes complete sense that your energy, confidence, and ambition feel entirely depleted right now. Surviving that kind of psychological toll leaves a profound numbness, and mourning the spark and certainty you used to feel is a very heavy, exhausting burden to carry.

My husband and I married while I was already pregnant by him. Alhamdulillah, we both regret our past mistakes and are seeking sincere repentance from Allah. However, I am worried and confused. Since we married while I was still pregnant, are we still committing zina by living together as husband and wife? Is our relationship halal, or are we required to do anything further?
- @static_heart
I have been married for two years, Alhamdulillah, and we have one son. My husband is a very handsome, hardworking, and loyal person. He prays regularly, and I completely trust him. However, my husband is intimate with me only once a month. Sometimes I wish he would be intimate with me more often, but he only does it once a month. Sometimes he does not initiate intimacy for even two months. He says that being intimate too often makes the body weak and that it is better to do it within limits. He takes very good care of his body and goes to the gym. I also know that he is loyal and does not have an affair with anyone else. Once, my husband went to another city for two months. During that time, I started talking to my cousin and became emotionally close to him. He is unmarried, and now he has proposed to me. He says that I should leave my husband and go with him. I also kissed him once, and I feel that I have committed a sin. I do not want to leave my husband, but my cousin is pressuring me to marry him. He has my call records and chats. I am very scared. If he tells my husband about everything, I fear my husband may leave me, and it would deeply hurt him. Please advise me. What should I do?

You deeply value your husband and your marriage, yet the loneliness from the lack of intimacy left you vulnerable. Now, facing intense pressure and the threat of exposure from your cousin while trying to protect your family must feel terrifying and exhausting. - @paper_moon
Please don’t judge me. I already carry a lot of guilt and fear, and I genuinely need Islamic guidance. I recently found out that I am pregnant outside of marriage. I know what happened was haram. I deeply regret it, I am begging Allah for forgiveness, and I want to make sincere tawbah and start my life differently. The father strongly wants me to terminate the pregnancy because he is afraid of his very conservative family and society. But abortion is extremely difficult for me emotionally and religiously. I keep thinking: I have already committed one sin, what if, because of fear of people, I make another irreversible decision that I regret for the rest of my life? The child is innocent and did nothing wrong. I feel that I have three options: 1. Abortion while the pregnancy is still very early, which is what he wants, although my heart is struggling to accept it. 2. Nikah, try to convince him that instead of abortion, we could sincerely repent, marry if Islamically permissible, accept responsibility, and start a new chapter in a halal way. I don’t want to force him into marriage, but I wonder why abortion should be our only option. 3. Continue the pregnancy even without him, sincerely repent, accept the consequences, and raise the child myself. But I am terrified that our families may cut ties with us, and I am scared about being a single mother and what this would mean for my and the child’s future. I feel caught between fear of Allah and fear of family and society. I desperately want to make the decision that is right Islamically, not simply the decision that makes this situation disappear. I would especially appreciate guidance from people knowledgeable in Hanafi fiqh regarding abortion before 40/120 days, Nikah when already pregnant from the same man, sincere tawbah, and the rights/status of a child conceived outside marriage. Please don’t shame me for what has already happened. I know it was wrong and regret it deeply. I need guidance about what I should do now that I cannot change the past. Please remember me in your duas. May Allah guide me toward the right decision and forgive me.

I am 32 years old and have been married for six years. My wife and I have not had a child together, although she has a child from a previous relationship. My wife has not had her menstrual period for a long time, sometimes for six months to a year. I have tried my best to explore and pursue different medical treatments in the hope of having a child together. At this point, I am considering divorce because I feel discouraged and uncertain about our future. However, my wife does not want to end the marriage. She remains hopeful that Allah will bless us with a child one day. I understand that having children is ultimately in Allah’s hands, and I respect my wife’s hope and faith. However, after six years of marriage and trying different treatments, I am struggling to decide what to do next. According to Islam, what should I do in this situation? Would it be better to give our marriage another year and continue hoping for a child, or would it be permissible for me to consider divorce? What does Islam advise regarding my responsibilities toward my wife and my own emotional well-being in these circumstances?

Navigating such a deep longing for a child alongside the weight of a six-year journey sounds utterly exhausting and heartbreaking. I am a doctor, and the woman I intend to marry is also a doctor. Before taking the next step towards marriage, I learned that she had been physically involved in a previous relationship almost ten years ago. I also learned that she had been s*xually assaulted by her cousin against her will, which deeply saddens me. Knowing about her past relationship has left me emotionally shattered. What makes this situation more complicated is that I have also engaged in physical intimacy with her multiple times before marriage, despite knowing that such intimacy is prohibited in Islam. I recognise my own mistakes, yet I am struggling to process her past and do not know what to do. Should I proceed with the marriage or step back? I sincerely need Islamic guidance.

My husband and I got nikahfied almost 7 years ago and got married 1 year ago. He used to hit me sometimes after nikah over small disputes but his family convinced me that he will change after marriage somehow I got convinced . Just after one week of marriage he slapped me and after one month he hit me so hard , abused and humilated me that his family traveled 400km just to resolve that dispute and asked him to say sorry and forced me to forgave him as it’s just the start of marriage and things do happen in relationships due to misunderstandings. After that I got pregnant with our son from 5th month of pregnancy to the 9th month he physically abused me even infront of his family if I disagree over anything while his family said that he would change after having baby and just pray for him. After I gave birth to our son I somehow expected that my life would change but I was barely one month postpartum when he hit me so hard that my head was swelled, my finger got broken, my stiches got infected and he strangled me from my neck and almost tried to kiII me while I was crying and asking for mercy and in that fight he also said talaq 3 times. Now I’m at my parents house still I’m not seeing any major change in his behaviour. Over talaq issue the mufti has told us it’ll be counted as 1 talaq as he gave me in one sitting. Some family friends , relatives are saying that I should give him one more chance for the sake of our son he’ll change. What’ll you suggest?

I am in my early twenties and studying at university. Before coming here, I was happy living with my family and depending on my parents. My father is the only earning member of our family. Now I live in a hostel, and I have realised that most of my friends are much richer than me. They have iPhones, cars, money, and a luxurious lifestyle. They go out and enjoy themselves, and sometimes they invite me too. I refuse by saying I am fine, but deep down, I also want to enjoy university life with them. It's not about showing off; I just don't want to miss out on everything. I have tried freelancing, faceless YouTube channels, and other online methods, but nothing has worked so far. I am good at studies, but I know I need to complete my degree before getting a proper job. Giving tuition to children doesn't seem worth the time and effort to me either. I don't want to depend on my parents forever. My father has worked hard his entire life, and I want to become financially independent and give my parents the life they deserve. I pray five times a day and recite Surah Yaseen at Fajr, but sometimes seeing my friends' lifestyle makes me feel left behind. I know I shouldn't compare myself with them, but it's difficult. Those who have been in a similar situation, how did you start earning while studying? What should I do to improve my financial situation without ruining my studies? Please give me genuine advice, especially if you are from Pakistan.

It sounds heavy to carry the sharp contrast between your peers' wealth and your own reality, especially when you simply want to belong and enjoy your youth. Your deep love for your parents and your determination to honor your father’s hard work shine through so clearly. Navigating that constant comparison while trying to stay grounded in your studies and your faith takes a tremendous amount of emotional strength.

He said, “Sorry, my brother,” and then carefully made his way along the edges to avoid stepping on the wet floor. He didn’t look at me, though. He collected his iced tea and left. He seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. About three months later, I spotted him again at Central Park. This time, he was with another guy. And guess what? That guy turned out to be my first cousin! My cousin saw me, came over and asked when I had arrived and all that. Meanwhile, this gentleman stood a little distance away, facing the other direction. That was the first thing I really liked about him. My cousin then introduced us. The three of us sat together for quite a while and had a really nice conversation. At some point, I mentioned something about my job, and he said, "I'll see if I can find something for you somewhere. Just send me your CV." So I forwarded him my CV, and that's how we exchanged numbers. Ten days later, I received a job offer from a Karachi-based organisation. A remote position in my own field, with a salary package of 150k! I hadn't applied for any jobs myself, so I was pretty sure he must have arranged it. That's when I messaged him for the first time to thank him. Long story short, I found him incredibly down-to-earth, well-mannered and respectful. He never said anything inappropriate or cheap. He always kept the conversation decent and mostly work-related. He just seemed like such a simple, genuine guy. One day, I even told him that I'd seen him at Tim’s before we were introduced, lol. Anyway, yesterday, my cousin and I invited him to Central Park, and he showed up in his kaala daala. That's when I realised this guy must actually be pretty wealthy! And guess what happened next? After I got home, I told my cousin that I got a job and his friend helped me with getting it. I told him the name of the company I was hired by. And guess what!!! He told me that the company I received the job offer from was actually that boy's OWN COMPANY! He's originally from Karachi too, lol. And please, don't get me wrong. It's not because of the Daala or his money, so don't misunderstand me, you guys. But I've fallen for this man, and I've fallen HARD! I genuinely have no idea how to take things forward with him! Oh, and one more thing. He's an entrepreneur, and MashAllah, he's become incredibly successful in a very short time, at such a young age.

That feels straight out of a romance novel. From noticing his manners with the cleaner to finding out he quietly hired you at his own company, it sounds like his respectfulness, humility, and quiet generosity are what truly swept you off your feet. It’s completely understandable that your heart is racing after seeing all those layers unfold, leaving you wonderfully overwhelmed and falling hard for someone who seems so genuinely decent.

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Main aaj yeh post bahut himmat karke likh raha hoon. Mujhe umeed hai ki aap log meri baat ko samjhenge aur mera mazaak nahi banayenge. Main kaafi waqt se p* rn addiction aur m*sturbation ki aadat se struggle kar raha tha. Is wajah se main mentally aur emotionally bahut weak mehsoos karne laga tha. Mujhe pata hai ki mujhe apni zindagi mein behtari laani hai, apne nafs par control karna hai aur Allah Ta'ala ke kareeb aana hai. Alhamdulillah, main bahut mushkilon ke baad is aadat se door aane ki koshish kar raha hoon. Ab main apni zindagi ko behtar banana chahta hoon, apne aap ko recover karna chahta hoon aur ek healthy lifestyle ki taraf badhna chahta hoon. Main yeh post sympathy paane ke liye nahi, balki apni galti ko accept karne aur apni recovery ke safar mein guidance lene ke liye likh raha hoon. Meri aap sabhi se guzarish hai: Please mera mazaak na banayein aur na hi mujhe judge karein. Agar aapne bhi kabhi is tarah ki struggle face ki hai aur usse bahar aaye hain, toh apna experience mere saath share karein. Mujhe batayein ki main apne thoughts, habits aur urges ko kaise control kar sakta hoon. Apni salah aur suggestions dein, taaki main apne aap ko physically, mentally aur spiritually behtar bana sakoon. Main jaanta hoon ki recovery ek din mein nahi hoti. Iske liye sabr, consistency aur strong willpower ki zaroorat hoti hai. Main apni taraf se poori koshish karna chahta hoon aur In Sha Allah, dheere-dheere apni zindagi mein positive changes laaunga. Allah Ta'ala mujhe aur un sabhi logon ko himmat de jo apni buri aadaton se lad rahe hain. Aameen.

Walaikum Assalam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu. It takes deep courage and honesty to open up about such a heavy, personal struggle. It sounds like this has been an exhausting emotional journey, but your resolve to heal, rebuild your strength, and seek closeness to Allah shows profound hope and determination. Acknowledging your vulnerabilities while holding onto faith and patience is a powerful first step, and your desire for positive change is truly felt. Aameen to your heartfelt prayers.

Its been 4 years since we got married. Me and my husband have 16 years of age difference. He is touching 40. When we got engaged. It was an arranged marriage. But we started talking and we fell in love. He asked me for int+++te photos. And me being in my firat relationships tried to refuse but he used to get silent. And he started sending me his pictures. He introduced me to p+. And untimately I shared mine too. Akhir 3 4 mahine roz hum yehi krty. And then he lost his interest. He used to ignore me. I use to chase him always. I was still head over heals. Then we got married and things were fine. I saw her old chats with the girls that bothered me alot. I confronted him but he said this is my perosnal thing and you dont have any right over this. As I loved him so Ignored. I cannot tolerate if I get to know that he was phy+++al with somebody. That was the thing that made me ignore these chats. Everything was good. We used to have good int+++cy. But after some time I got pregnant and soon after he gained weight. Now I have 1 baby girl. And we havent been in+++ate since 2 years due to his weight. I crave for him. He is not romantic anymorw. Doesnt to+ch me even. He wants me to wait until he lose weight. And my drive is too much. I suffer being alone. I am struggling. I want his attention. He says dont chase me or else I lose more interest

Asalamalaikum F27 Mera question tamam abroad rehne ya gulf mai rehne wale couples se hai. Especially men. Aap apni wife ku apne saath rakhre koi doosri country mai toh kia ehsaan karre samjhre unke upar?. I have seen many men jo ye baat ka taana dete ki tumaku mai apne saath yaha rakhru bahar toh bada kaam karru, nai toh chahta toh apne maa baap ke pass chod sakta tha. Ye jumla baar baar sunne milta. Bhai aap shaadi karte kyu?. biwi ku saath rakhne! Fir ye ehsaan kyu jataya jaata?. Or as a biwi hum dar dar ke rehte, kahi agar zyada kharch karugi toh wapis bhej dega shohar, agar koi baat pe behaz kari, toh shayd naraz hokar wapas bhejde, ye constant pressure chalte rehra dimag mai. Aisa haibat ki zindagi kaisa guzarna?. Fir sochtiu ki chalo susraal walo azaab toh nai hai. Miya ke saath toh rehriu na sukoon se , bt ye jo back of the mind haibat rehti na, wo bht ghaleez feeling hai. Mere miya ek gau se talluq rakhte, or mai shehar se, uno apni jee jaan laga dete, meku daba ke rakhne,. har cheez mai!. meri toh apni marzi yaa khwaish toh marr hi jaare. Bahar rehne ke liye, itni badi keemat ada karna hai. Sochriu mere miya ku sabak sikhane chale jao, wapas. Lekin wo emotionally sochne wala admi nahi hai. Toh kia un pe asar nai huinga?

I’m 35, single, and currently doing a government job in Pakistan with a take-home salary of around PKR 140,000. I’m living in a rented house and have family responsibilities. My mother is not satisfied with my income and keeps insisting that I should move abroad. To be honest, I also want to go abroad, but at 35, I’m worried that I may be getting too late to make a successful move. All of this is affecting me mentally, and I feel more depressed and stuck with each passing day. What should I do in this situation? Should I keep my government job and focus on building a side income? If yes, what skill or online work would realistically have good earning potential? I’d really appreciate practical advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

I have been happily married for 28 years, can’t complain about my life great husband two kids they both are studying good and mature responsible. I should say Allah ka jitna shukar adda karo kam ha. What’s bothers me I have these phases where I just want to go do crazy stuff, like something is missing I get approached by many guys from my work and my husband work friends but they are ok to just talk nit interested . I always kept my distance as a respectful women. But sometimes I just want to leave everything for 10 days or two weeks and just wanted to be the life. ( ps money is not an issue at all.

It sounds like you carry a lot of genuine gratitude for your marriage and family, yet alongside that peace, there is a deep, quiet restlessness. Holding steady and being the responsible, respectful one for nearly three decades can feel heavy, and wanting to break free for just a little while to feel a spark of pure, untamed life is a very human longing. Your feelings make sense.

I am 29F single and a working lady☹️ One year ago I received a Rishta proposal through my cousin, of one of his school friend's brother 33.. I never prefer marrying through relative but I decided to see the boy.. as they were convincing me alot that the boy is good in nature and this & this blah blah.. so I said Okay I will see him. In our meeting we rejected him during the meeting Infront of his parents.. as the boy didn't disclose his income and financial stability with us.. and we considered him a hardworking person but not settled enough to give a good life to anyone. and after 8 months I came to know that he got married with the sister of my female colleague.. which shocked me as it's a coincidence of him getting married to someone this closer to me.. my colleague is my good workplace friend too.. but she didn't knew that I also got a proposal of his brother in law a year ago and I rejected him.. after sometime when I gather some info about him with her, she told me that the boy is very stable and good. and he has his own international marketing agency which broken my heart from inside.. as the boy's family never told us about his business, they lied us and told us that he's doing a normal job and just because of it we rejected him during the meetup.. and after sometime my colleague told me that the boy's family also told them a normal job and never disclosed any business.. her sister knew about his husband's business after 2 months of getting married to him.. this betrayal from boy's family put me into anxiety and depression, I don't know how to overcome with this.. she still have no idea about my rejection for his brother in law earlier.. but I am not able to give my 100% in office, I am trying my level best but I am unable to get rid of overthinking.. Any idea how to overcome with this situation??

After one year I'll get married to my love. I have loved him for more than 8 years. He was a play b+y back then. But some stuff happened in both of our lives that brought us together again. We have been in contact for 9 years. He is a good man and has repented. We got engaged last year. It was a miracle that my parents agreed as the guy is in struggling phase. Now I'm having these thoughts that I should have gone abroad for my studies. Since childhood it was my dream to go to London. I'm stuck between two decisions. I love that man so much. But i also will love to spend at least one year abroad. That's it. Just one year. It was my dream. To live freely for once. Without tensions responsibility. Every day i think about this. I was not a woman who just wanted to get married i wanted to settle abroad make a career everyone had expectations fron me. But i just gave up everything for him. That man is my lifeline. I don't know what to do it's affecting my mental health. My parents never allowed mw to live like i want. I always was a good obedient girl. Everyone says that k beti ho to aisi. I'm soooo lonely and stuck with my thoughts.

F … My Nikah took place in 2024, and I got married in 2025. The entire proposal process, from the first meeting until Nikah, was completed within one month. Before Nikah, everything seemed fine. However, after Nikah, my in-laws began making excessive demands for dowry and became increasingly difficult to deal with. Although my husband initially appeared kind and reasonable, his behavior gradually changed. He became angry over small matters, prolonged arguments unnecessarily, and failed to support me emotionally. It often felt as though he would create conflict whenever things were going well. Shortly after the marriage, my husband began accusing me of things I had not done. On the day after our wedding, he became suspicious because I did not bleed during intimacy and began questioning my character. Despite my repeated assurances and sincere attempts to clear the misunderstanding, he continued to doubt me. Over time, he became increasingly controlling, restricted my interactions, criticized my appearance, and imposed strict limitations on my daily life. I remained patient for several months, hoping things would improve, but the situation only worsened. After six months, I went to stay with my parents. During that time, my husband told me not to return and said that he wanted a divorce. He then cut off communication for months. When I later tried to reconcile, I was turned away. Since then, his family has repeatedly accused me of being characterless and has spread false allegations about me. Although they frequently demand divorce, they seem unwilling to formally proceed, and I fear this may be because of financial obligations such as my Haq Mehr. I have now been living with my parents for ten months. Given everything that has happened, should I continue trying to save this marriage, or should I pursue divorce through the proper legal and Islamic channels?

It’s 2 a.m., and the only sliver of light seeping in is above the kitchen sink as my bedroom door sits cracked open beside my two babies and me. Five and three, they’re everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more. It takes my breath away to realize this, especially as I once dreamed of what once somehow seemed like more: a “complete” family unit, the American dream, a family of four. A partner, a confidant, a provider, a ring, a marriage, and a love story to go down in history. And now–at least for now–all of that is history. And that’s okay. Getting divorced in my mid-thirties wasn’t on my bingo card. That said, I’m starting to understand why it was, after all, in the cards…and as it turns out, it’s not so surprising at all. As the dust of the initial shock settles and settlement talks drag on, I’m finding comfort in what I only wish the younger, more vulnerable version of me could have seen: God doesn’t want any of His daughters to live life small. Sometimes–just sometimes–His plans are bigger than ours. And sometimes–just sometimes–that means swallowing our pride and breaking free. It’s okay to break free.

There is such quiet grace in this 2 a.m. realization. Looking at your sleeping little ones and letting go of an old blueprint takes immense courage, but it sounds like a deep, freeing peace is taking its place. Stepping away from what felt small to make room for something true to who you are is a profound act of love for yourself and your babies. You are standing in your strength right where you are.

My marriage is only 4 months old, and I am 3 months pregnant. My husband still has not taken me to live with him. Suddenly, my grandfather became seriously ill, and I wanted to go to my village home. At that time, my husband told me not to go and said that even if my grandfather died, I should not go. However, seeing the emergency situation, my parents took me with them. Because of this, my husband now wants to divorce me. He has given me a condition: if I leave everything behind, come to him, and never acknowledge my parents or family again, then he will not divorce me. He says I cannot have any contact with my family, even if someone dies. But my marriage was arranged by both families. I told him that if he wants me to come back, he should take me back properly through the families in the same way the marriage was arranged. After that, if necessary, I can limit contact with my family. However, he is not willing to accept this and says he will divorce me. Now, what should I do?

You are carrying so much right now, being newly married and expecting a child while facing an impossible, heartbreaking ultimatum. It sounds incredibly painful and isolating to be asked to completely cut ties with the family who loves and supports you, especially during a time of family illness and your pregnancy. Having to navigate such extreme demands and the threat of divorce when you are already in a vulnerable position must feel overwhelming and deeply unfair.
