Community Guidelines

1. No identifying details

Whisprin is anonymous. Don't post your real name, anyone else's real name, or details specific enough to identify a real person -- phone numbers, addresses, social media handles, workplace names, photos, or anything else that points back to a real, identifiable person. This applies even if the person is you.

2. Be someone worth listening to

Be someone you'd want listening on your worst night. No judgment, no pile-ons, no harassment, no mocking someone for what they've shared. Disagreement is fine; cruelty isn't.

3. Zero tolerance

The following will get content removed and can get an account banned, no warning required:

• —Illegal content of any kind.
• —Sexual content involving minors, in any form.
• —Content that puts a real, identifiable person at risk -- doxxing, threats, or calls for others to target someone.
• —Impersonating a real person, including a public figure, in a way meant to deceive.
• —Coordinated harassment or brigading against any person or group.
• —Spam, scams, solicitation, or advertising.

4. If something worries you, report it

If you read something that concerns you -- about your safety, someone else's safety, or the rules above -- use the report option rather than confronting the poster yourself, in comments or otherwise.

5. How enforcement works

Every post and comment is screened automatically before it's visible to anyone else, and anything the system flags -- or that gets reported -- goes to a human moderator. Moderators can remove content, and Whisprin staff can suspend or ban an account, at their discretion, without prior notice. Every one of those actions is logged internally.

6. AI is involved, and it's labeled

Whisprin uses an AI system to do a first-pass safety check on content before a human sees it. On some approved posts, you'll also see a reply from Echo, Whisprin's AI companion. Anywhere Whisprin shows you AI-generated text directly, it's labeled as AI. None of it is a therapist, doctor, or lawyer, and it shouldn't be treated as professional advice.

7. If you're in crisis

Whisprin is a community space, not an emergency or crisis service, and nobody here -- another member, a moderator, or an AI feature -- can guarantee help in time if you're in danger. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your area.
